The Process

Similar to other project phases, the Perkins Eastman Strategies team provided consulting services to identify the implementation strategy for the design and change management processes associated with Phases 2 and 3 of the renovation. Because it was important to future phases that we understood what worked (or did not work) in Phases 2 and 3, a post-occupancy evaluation (POE) was conducted. Six months after people began working in the new office environment, a survey was distributed and interviews were conducted to gather feedback, measuring the gap analysis and users’ satisfaction levels. The POE results pinpointed where minor modifications could improve workflow in the already renovated environments (Phases 1-3), as well as allowed us to make more informed design decisions moving forward (Phases 4+).
