During the programming and space analysis phase of the project, we defined many of the programmatic issues associated with lack of consistent standards and adjacencies, and we were able to identify physical “barriers” that were impacting the work process and employee satisfaction. The staff weighed in on the lack of natural light, limited meeting space, and disjointed floor plan due to numerous building additions, as well as their impact on productivity.
