Perkins Eastman | Moorings Park

Moorings Park

Naples, Florida
Moorings Park initiated an overall campus repositioning with a strategic and master plan led by Perkins Eastman. Site design, building scale and detail, and landscape amenities are all pedestrian inspired. The design team took great care to integrate the landscape with the new buildings in a way that encourages an active lifestyle. The end result brought new character to the campus, acting as a catalyst for future strategic planning. Interior design services were provided by Wegman Design Group. Local architectural services were provided by Phil Krieg AIA of Burt Hill/Pollock Krieg Architects, Inc.

One of the first projects was the design of a new Center for Healthy Living® (CHL) wellness center that has become a focal point for the 83-acre campus. The 37,000 sf CHL follows a medical concierge operational model that allows visitors to customize their experience. Amenities include an aquatic center, spa, exercise studios, fitness/weight rooms, and a rehabilitation center. To encourage wellness dimensions beyond the physical, the center also offers a meditation room, zen garden, creative arts studios, and classroom space for visiting lecturers.

The three-story facility features parking on the two lower levels and wellness environments on the third floor. Perkins Eastman’s additional work on campus includes the design of 29 residential apartments, varying in size from 1,850 sf to 5,000 sf, on a new central lake. The residences also enjoy an exciting upscale restaurant venue. The new buildings at Moorings Park achieved LEED for Homes Silver certification.
