Cornell University Weill Medical College Department of Medicine: New York-Presbyterian Hospital: NEED TEXT

Cornell Medical Center Pathology Laboratories at New York-Presbyterian Hospital: The 20,000 sf Pathology Department was renovated to include additional research laboratories, staff offices, administrative suite, conference rooms, and support spaces. Through an open modular lab configuration, the 500 sf laboratories form the floor’s perimeter and can be combined when needed. Support spaces and technologies are adjacent to the lab areas.

Cornell University Medical College: Perkins Eastman’s work includes both laboratory and office projects throughout CUMC. These include a 40,000 sf faculty practice center that houses the Strang Clinic (oncology), cardiology, pediatrics, surgeons’ assistant training, and general medicine practice; a new outpatient radiology suite that contains two magnet rooms, consultation areas, a conference room, and administrative functions; new ophthalmology and immunology research areas for a cancer research group; new anesthesiology and pharmacology laboratories; and new chairman’s suite for the Department of Neurology.
