David Chin

AIA

Principal

“I’m a big proponent of designing with empathy for the building’s users and affinity with the overall built environment.”

David’s love of travel at a young age motivated him to move from Singapore to London to pursue architecture, where he studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture under David Greene and Peter Cook of Archigram. He was inspired by their optimism and willingness to challenge design conventions and norms. That same outlook drives David’s design philosophy and passion in his work.

Such passion has shaped his experience on projects across the United States, the Middle East, China, and Southeast Asia. Currently based in Singapore, David has been in the Health care practice area since 2000, where he advocates an evidence-based and human-centric approach to medical planning and health care design. He also hopes to bring a multidisciplinary and cross-specialty approach to design and planning, collaborating with professionals both within and outside health care to achieve the best outcome for our clients.
