David has always been fascinated by the way space informs how people interact. In his contemporary design and strategy work for universities, he focuses on the interplay between technology and humanity, between planned-for efficiencies and serendipitous human insight. He creates complete learning ecosystems, contemporizes learning platforms, and infuses design-thinking into operations. David aims to advance learning behavior and outcomes through innovation and some of his most recent projects have established academic change management processes, incorporated accommodations for introverts and extroverts, and boosted cognition among learners. David’s collaborations span community organizations, universities including traditional 4-year, research, and online institutions, as well as corporate and government training programs. When not thinking of the future of learning, David dreams of being a cowboy in the wilds of Wyoming’s Tetons.
