Hillary developed a strong interest in designing for the aging population through her work and research at Perkins Eastman, along with her personal experience with her grandmothers and stepfather. A strategic thought leader within the firm, she applies her knowledge of experiential design and thinking to all scales of work from community master planning to interior repositioning. She has worked with both for-profit and non-profit providers, designing unique spaces that allow for experience and connection—two elements she feels create a successful interior environment. Hillary is ever-curious in both research and design work; this curiosity, paired with her own personal background, forms the backbone of her holistic approach to creating environments for people.
