Driven by the belief that architecture deeply affects physical, cultural, and social environments, Jan is a leader with more than four decades of design experience. In addition to his work on high-rise offices, over the last twenty-five years Jan has become known for working on large sports facilities that promote culture and leisure via designs that take cues from geographical, natural, cultural, and social site factors.
For Jan, every project presents a distinct set of opportunities and challenges that lead to unique solutions. He believes the most successful projects fulfill clients’ aspirations and create memorable designs that strongly connect with local cultures and environments. As a project architect on major new stadium designs, he oversees the MEIS architect and consultant teams to complete design and documentation.
