With 40 years of dedicated professional experience in master planning and urban design, Joseph Pobiner is an inventive and thoughtful planner within the firm. Throughout his noteworthy career, which has led him to work in 42 U.S. states and 32 countries on six continents, Joe has cultivated a varied portfolio of high-profile projects across multiple practices, including higher education, sports & entertainment, mixed-use, healthcare, corporate, town and regional planning, aviation, urban districts, and hospitality. With every project, he keeps sustainability, resiliency, and authenticity top of mind, always seeking design cues from the local cultures and contexts of the places he visits. Outside of work, Joe acts as a visiting lecturer and guest critic for universities within the U.S. and abroad.
