“Making the connections that help us build strong, resilient and equitable communities is at the core of what makes us successful, and is extremely personally rewarding for me.”

Growing up in Chicago, surrounded by the iconic architecture that lines Lake Michigan, Lauren was struck at an early age by the power an urban environment has to influence a city’s culture and the psychology of its inhabitants. As head of business development for for the Vancouver and Seattle studios, Lauren leads collaborative teams in defining approaches, tasks and policies that result in successful pursuits, projects and relationships. Lauren also frequently supports the studios’ technical teams for major project delivery by clarifying visions, tasks and responsibilities and overseeing team communications to ensure transparency, accuracy and nimbleness.

As a co-managing principal for the Vancouver and Seattle studios, Lauren also oversees resourcing and project performance and helps the studio leverage its design talent for maximum agility on complex pursuits and projects.
