Growing up in Spain, where he got his architectural license, Mario was always drawn to the possibility of creating and designing spaces for people to enjoy. He moved to New York in his late twenties to expand on the scale and impact of the projects within their communities and have a more global projection in his work. As an athlete throughout his life, MEIS has allowed Mario to combine his love for sports with his professional pursuits in architecture.
With a background in the development of highly complex buildings (higher education, institutional, and healthcare projects), Mario was well suited for the versatility and complexity of large arenas and stadia as a project manager at MEIS for several of these projects. Mario approaches architecture with a meticulous and detail-oriented mindset, keen on “making things happen” and being able to execute designs into carefully considered buildings and spaces.
