Since his childhood, which was filled with building blocks and puzzles, drawing contests among friends and family, and a natural aptitude for math and science, Shane has always been interested in problem solving and creative expression. For as long as he has been with Perkins Eastman, from his days as an intern to his current leadership role in the Healthcare practice area, he has dedicated himself to the ongoing improvement of both the quality of our projects and the process behind them.
Shane has practiced in the New York Healthcare studio since 2003 as a designer, project architect, and BIM (Building Information Modeling) manager, and has served as a licensed architect and certified LEED professional since 2008. His experience has focused primarily on core and shell design, encompassing a broad range of program and scale for both domestic and international projects. Most recently, in addition to project work, he has played an integral role in leading and contributing to efforts to improve BIM standards, streamline workflows, and maximize efficiency, at both a firmwide and localized level.
Our Perkins Eastman
Shane believes strongly that the quality of Perkins Eastman’s work is a direct result of the means by which it is produced. As both a personal and professional goal, he continually strives to ensure that the firm’s experience and expertise is embodied in its culture, communications, and creative process.
