New York University Renovation Projects

New York, NY, USA

A long-term collaboration showcases how educational design and an institution’s success go hand-in- hand.

Working with NYU for more than a decade, Perkins Eastman has transformed an array of learning environments in the medical, business, nursing, and dental schools, as well as the university library. Spanning a spectrum of small and large-scale projects, the spaces demonstrate that great performance and design are both highly achievable. High profile renovations include the Bonomi Family Admissions Center, a ground floor renovation of a heritage building off Washington Square designed to embody NYU’s history and spirit, and the Stern School of Business and Kaufman Management Center, a decade-long re-stack of an original Philip Johnson Building and adjacent spaces redesigned to meet modern standards and needs. Additional renovations include refreshed interiors and space planning for the Tisch Hall Conference Center, the College of Dentistry’s Septodont Lecture Hall, and the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library.
