Benjamin Banneker Academic High School won a 2025 METROPOLIS Planet Positive Award in “K–12 Education” at an awards ceremony in New York City. The biggest awards program for sustainability, health, and wellbeing in the built environment, the Planet Positive Awards honor sustainable projects, products, innovation, and people who are working to create a better and healthier future.
