The Bronx Times highlights our Fordham Landing project in “Bronx Waterfront to Get $55 Million Boost for 900-Unit Affordable Housing Project.” A mixed-use, transit-oriented development, the project will transform an underutilized stretch of the Harlem River into a vibrant and connected neighborhood with affordable housing and unprecedented access to the waterfront.
Phase one, Fordham Landing South, will bring more than 900 new affordable homes to the Bronx waterfront, along with a charter school, grocery store, three acres of public waterfront, and improved access to Metro-North.
Phase two, Fordham Landing North (pictured), will add an additional 3.8 million sf of mixed-use development, including 3,000 more units of housing, a waterfront park, and a commercial harbor which will provide true access to the Harlem River for the people of the Bronx.
