In her role as Sustainability Director, Heather is inspired by the intersection between wellness and sustainability and believes that in order to truly move toward a healthier and more resilient society, the wellness of people and planet must work holistically. Her expertise in passive design, building science, indoor environmental quality, and pre/post-occupancy evaluations, are valuable contributions to both the projects in which she is involved and the firm as a whole. As a global leader, Heather oversees research initiatives and discussions to inform and promote sustainable design practice. Heather also supports client work as an internal consultant on key projects with high sustainability ambitions, helping to guide the design process from goal setting and strategy identification to measuring impact and successes.
