Principal

"It is always about the people."

Since early childhood, Dallas has always liked drawing spaces and breaking them down into 2D elements – plans, elevations, sections—and sketching the historic barn structures around his hometown of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Those experiences led to drafting and model building classes in high school and the rest is history, he says, “although I still wonder what my life would be like if I’d followed my other passion – wildlife and forestry management!”

Whether guiding a client through a design process or mentoring a colleague to achieve a new level of success, Dallas is passionate about connecting with people where they are and collaboratively creating positive experiences. He champions a culture of transparency, working with and challenging his colleagues to seek advancement for their company, their professional growth, and their personal wellbeing. His leadership style is inclusive with a focus on bringing innovation, excellence, and fun to the design process.  Since he began his career in the early 1990s, Dallas has always believed in creating relevant and timeless spaces that can easily evolve as community needs change. His  portfolio includes large scale mixed-use developments, urban design and planning, and high-rise office buildings in locations around the globe. He has incorporated lessons learned from working with multi-cultural clients from very early in his career, such as taking time to get to know people on a personal level. It may take an extra few minutes, he notes, but it is always a valuable endeavor.
