Early in her career, Deborah worked side by side with lions, tigers, and jaguars at a large cat sanctuary, an experience that prepared her for the cliff-hanging challenges that come with building a brand. In 1998, Deborah founded ForrestPerkins, today a distinct studio of Perkins Eastman, and she’s been an international leader in luxury hospitality interior design ever since. With attention to detail and craft, Deborah creates personalized guest experiences for contemporary and classic hotels and unparalleled living environments in high-end residential properties. Her design sensibility and thoughtfulness resonate with all who enter the spaces she designs. Among her many honors, in 2004, the American Society of Interior Designers recognized her as its Designer of Distinction and her award-winning designs have been featured in numerous respected publications.
