“I have always lived in cities, surrounded by the built environment. The desire to sculpt, shift, and change that environment took hold early and still remains,” Dianne says. Since she began practicing in 2006, she’s sought to immerse herself in projects with a public face such as facilities for tertiary and higher education, libraries, and community hubs. She’s been involved in all phases of design, from programming to construction administration, but her favorite part is the challenge of taking the big design idea and making it real, working through the jigsaw puzzle of aligning programmatic needs, building systems, operational requirements and the overall design vision.
