Eric Pan

Associate Principal

"I became an architect because I enjoy seeking solutions with people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. Nothing makes me feel more fulfilled than seeing students and faculty thrive in the educational environment we’ve created for them."

Growing up in urban Southeast Asia, Eric has always been fascinated by how local cultures shape the patterns of the built environment. While pursuing his degree in architecture in California, he learned to be a human-centric yet resourceful problem solver who celebrates the shared values of a diverse community. Today, Eric practices architecture because he enjoys solving problems with common-sense solutions and working with people who come from diverse backgrounds. He’s most passionate about serving school and university clients and the students who inhabit their buildings as they pursue and realize their American dreams.

Our Perkins Eastman

Eric leads the K-12 and Higher Education teams with commitment to quality and compassion for his staff’s well-being and development. He’s a champion of Perkins Eastman’s mentorship program and an active contributor to the firm-wide project management committee. In addition to mentoring emerging professionals, he also leads the regional staffing cooperation to ensure adequate project staffing so each team member receives opportunities for professional development while contributing to the success of the project.
