Gordon’s passion for interior design began at a young age, sparked by his love of drawing, and eventually laid the foundation for his lifelong passion for design. After devoting the first six years of his career to practicing as an interior designer, he sought a more comprehensive grasp of design, especially within the context of architecture. By joining these two disciplines, Gordon believed he could craft more considerate designs, while also achieving a deeper understanding of architecture.
What initially drew Gordon to interior design and architecture was the impact these disciplines had on one’s experiences and memories. He recalls moments when he would walk into a completed project and see each of the elements he had first seen on paper converging into a unified whole. He loves that breathtaking sight when lighting, colors, textures, landscapes, shapes, cultural influences, historical references, scents, and sounds come together.
