“Good design is not only about creating beautiful spaces. It must improve the lives of the people using it daily to make them feel welcomed, valued, and heard. Good design allows people to achieve their highest potential.”

Jeremy’s design story started at age 8, when he remembers being captivated by some floor plans he randomly found that his mom had sketched on a note pad. At that point he had found his calling, thereafter devouring house-plan books, drawing his own floor plans, and dreaming up buildings.

As a designer of corporate office spaces since he earned his degree in 2002, Jeremy loves getting to know people, listening to them, and understanding them at a deep level—that place where you can find what makes them “tick.” This practice has led him to craft spaces for his clients that speak only to them and would not work for anyone else. In other words, he says, a space that “looks like the people came with it.” Jeremy’s understanding and love of people also extends to colleagues—he has a passion for mentoring and training the next generation of designers. He finds joy in seeing them find their own voices as professionals and creatives.
