"Talented architects will push the boundaries of our industry to be collaborative, inclusive, and give back. These core principals are fundamental to good design and successful projects."

Jim is a licensed architect, project manager, and dedicated leader with strong collaborative skills. Influenced by Sam Mockbee’s Rural Studio in college, Jim began his career in 2010 with a desire to practice the social responsibilities of architecture and community-driven work. He has diverse experience in the planning, design, and construction of many practice areas, including higher education, arts and culture, existing and historic building renovations, transportation, and residential. No matter the project type, he understands the complexities of working with many stakeholders and the importance of collaboration in order to build successful, transformative, and sustainable projects.

Jim expands his leadership beyond projects by mentoring young professionals and leading the firmwide Project Management Committee. Well-rounded and able to juggle the management, technical, and design leadership roles on projects, he also shares his skills with the public sector by volunteering and leading several non-profit organizations. As the co-founder and chief operating officer of the non-profit Broadway West, he is using his expertise in our practices areas to revitalize the historic theater district in Downtown Los Angeles.
