Romelda Forbes

Associate Principal

“I’m guided by the belief that representation matters and advocating for equity of voice in spaces where marginalized voices weren’t always heard. We’re all given the opportunity daily to shine light on the things that matter most. My position with Perkins Eastman allows me to do that while also honoring all parts of my identity.”

In her firm-wide role as controller, Romelda leverages her passion for devising clear, compelling, and transparent systems to support strategic financial decision-making and organizational growth. Romelda leads her team by cultivating an environment of inclusion and believes strongly that representation and equity are imperative to healthy (both financially and culturally) organizations. Prior to her promotion to controller, she has served in a variety of capacities with increasing responsibilities that include risk management specialist, global accounting manager, assistant controller, and controller.

Our Perkins Eastman
