Perkins Eastman worked alongside Koning Eizenberg, serving as Executive Architect for the massive expansion that preserved two of the city’s architecture treasures, the Old Post Office and Buhl Planetarium and introduced a dynamic new three-story addition. Showcasing sustainable adaptive design, a translucent screen surrounds the addition, becoming a dramatic wind sculpture and illuminated landmark that welcomes all.
