Strategically positioned in Salt Lake City, this outpatient clinic will be nestled between a stunning backdrop of the Wasatch Range and will present an array of natural features that inform the local and historical context of its architecture. Engaging with this natural context provides a unique opportunity for the clinic to promote a tranquil and welcoming experience for patients and their families. The design objective endeavors to provide a place of refuge, healing, and sanctuary for patients that goes well beyond meeting their healthcare needs alone, and will establish a connection to the local vernacular that will enrich the healing experience and renew the body, mind, and spirit.
