Introducing PE Strategies 3

FactSet Research Systems, Inc.

Norwalk, CT

A healthy, innovative workplace reflects the firm’s team-oriented culture and global brand.

For its headquarters relocation, FactSet Research Systems aspired to create a productive work environment to stimulate creative thinking, encourage collaboration, attract new talent, and promote its expanding global identity. To realize these goals, Perkins Eastman engaged employees in a series of strategic visioning workshops, interviews, surveys, and studies to collect data and facilitate consensus building. The design process resulted in an agile, open environment comprised of a series of neighborhoods that accommodate various work styles and workstations. Inspired by modern fin-tech design and the beauty of southern New England, the space features natural materials, textures, and colors. Biophilic elements including live plantings and green walls promote wellness among employees and visitors, while the penthouse level’s outdoor terrace, lounge, gaming area, café, and conference center help them to build strong connections with one another. A crucial part of urban revitalizations efforts in Norwalk, FactSet’s new workplace underscore’s the firm’s commitment to its community.
