Modern living and sustainable design in the heart of Philadelphia

NorthxNorthwest (NxNW) is a dynamic residential complex in downtown Philadelphia, featuring a 16-story tower with 270 upscale apartments and 16 townhouses. Designed with a timeless, modern aesthetic, the building’s façades layer metal, stone, and glass to create depth and break down the overall scale. Metal-clad bay windows and a standing seam roof connect the design to the adjacent Museum Towers I.

The new tower reimagines the ground floor with a skylit lobby serving both Museum Towers I & II, along with new leasing offices and a variety of resident amenities. A four-story, above-grade parking garage, framed by rental townhouses facing a public park, complements the new structure. Residents also enjoy a rooftop terrace offering sweeping views of downtown Philadelphia.

NxNW’s sustainability program prioritizes livable open spaces, watershed protection, energy efficiency, and high indoor air quality. The project reduces impervious cover by over 20 percent, minimizing stormwater runoff, and both the new tower and parking garage are LEED Silver Certified.
