A Modern Mixed-Use Tower Enhancing Belltown’s Urban Landscape

The Confidential is a mixed-use tower located in the heart of Seattle’s vibrant Belltown neighborhood. Anchored by ground-level retail along Bell Street Park, the project blends modern design with the area’s historic charm. The brick-clad podium honors the neighborhood’s legacy, while contemporary apertures and intimate balconies invite residents and office-goers to engage with the public realm.

Designed by Perkins Eastman, the 29-story stepped tower features 212 apartments and 9,000 sf of street-fronting restaurants and retail spaces. The tower’s vertical expression is defined by four distinct massing elements, culminating in eyebrow features at the amenity rooftop. A richly textured masonry base includes private residential balconies and outdoor café seating, while a single office level overlooks the bustling streetscape, contributing to the building’s mixed-use character.

A niche for a vibrant chandelier as a public art piece spans the full height of the building, creating a striking element that stretches from the rooftop down to the lobby entrance. The inset corners of this art feature provide natural light, fresh air, and stunning views for units located in the center of the building.
