At a time of climate disruption and pedagogical change, UCLA Lab School, on the University of California, Los Angeles campus, offered a rare opportunity to study resiliency through the dual lenses of architecture and pedagogy. Its integration of design and nature to support human health and well-being embodies biorealism, the philosophy developed by modernist architect Richard Neutra.
